Website designed for Trousdale Lounge in West Hollywood, CA. The owners of the Sunset Strip venue were looking for a website featuring an easily-updateable event calendar to display their digital flyers and a members-only section for candid photos of their special events.
Making good use of compatible plug-ins was pivotal for this web development project. The event calendar was custom developed to feature featured image thumbnails for each of the event flyers. Custom theme development for the admin and log in sections was also performed to maintain UI/UX branding.

Website designed for e-magazine Drews Werd in Los Angeles, CA. I showed this website as a perfect example of how quickly a WordPress website can be designed and developed at the 2010 WordCamp LA seminar at Loyola Marymount University. This website was designed and developed in 9 hours. This design was created from a modified Twenty Ten theme (the default theme for WordPress 3.0+).
This website featured a simple set of plugins as rapid development was the goal for this particular web design project. The plugins installed included: Fancy Galleries, Socialable WP3, All-In-One SEO and Dagon Design Form Mailer. The client was also briefed on Google Analytics and its interpretation.

Website designed and developed for Palladian Health's Coordinated Spinal Care educational resource to help inform patients in the Palladian Healthcare network about risks, at-home-treatment, preventative care and tests available. I was hired to develop the framework and information architecture for the website.
Located in West Seneca, NY, Palladian Health also needed a bulk stock image purchase to help with the individual article images. The client was briefed on WordPress administration and shown how to update individual articles with keywords, categories and basic text and image editing.

Website designed and developed for JIVI Management & Consulting, located in Washington D.C. This website featured animated Flash banners and a sitewide music player. The website was designed to embody a luxurious style, as was the stock imagery selected for the site.
JIVI Management & Consulting is an example I show to clients who are interested in a 'clean/minimalist' and 'corporate' design style for their website. This website also demonstrates good use of Flash elements in a PHP website, granting search engines better access to text than in a full-Flash website.

Website designed for The Beverly, West Hollywood's latest celebrity hot spot. The owners of Trousdale Lounge requested another website for their next nightlife endeavor in West Hollywood with a web design that would embody the atmosphere of the nightclub.
Custom plugin development included the same functionality as Trousdale Lounge: AJAX user login, customized event calendar, members-only photos section, iContact e-mail marketing sign up form, and complete theming throughout the entire user experience. Fantastic vinatge images were utilized from Shorpy.com.

Website design for Joel James Comedy, a stand-up comedian located in Rochester, NY. The second version of Joel James' comedy blog, the website features: Fancy YouTube gallery, Fancy gallery, Spam-free contact form, and PayPal shopping button.
The dark, gritty urban styling of the website was designed to exemplify Joel's comedic style and the Rochester / New York environment the talented comedian frequents for his stand-up performances. I also shot and edited several of Joel James' comedy videos while I was developing the first version of his website.
